At The Hijab Fairy, we want you to feel confident and beautiful in your purchase. This detailed return and refund policy outlines everything you need to know about returning or exchanging items, ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience.
What Can Be Returned?
We accept returns on most unworn and unused items, with a few exceptions:

- Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged, don't worry! We thoroughly inspect everything before shipping, but mistakes can happen.
- Incorrect Items: We apologize if you receive an item that's different from what you ordered (wrong size, color, etc.).

In-person Shopping and Final Sale Items: Items purchased during sale events, special offers, exhibitions, bazaars, or any in-person shopping are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Some sale items may have minor defects and cannot be returned or exchanged. - Wrong Size Orders: We recommend double-checking our size chart before placing your order. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for items where you mistakenly ordered the wrong size.

Return Timeframe:
You have 24 hours from the date you receive your order to initiate a return. This is crucial, so act promptly!
Return Condition Requirements:
For your return to be accepted, the item must be in its original condition:
- Unworn and Unused: The item should not show any signs of wear or tear.
- Original Tags Attached: All tags that came with the item must be securely attached.
- Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including any dust bags or boxes.
How to Return an Item:
- Contact Us: Within 24 hours of receiving your order, send an email to info@thehijabfairy.ca stating your intention to return and the reason for the return (damaged item, wrong item, etc.).
- Gather Information: Include your order number, a brief description of the item, and any relevant photos (photos of damage for damaged items).
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for covering the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your own peace of mind.
What Happens After I Return My Item?
Once we receive your returned item, our team will carefully inspect it to ensure it meets the return condition requirements. This process typically takes 2-3 business days.
- Approved Return: If your return is approved, we'll issue you a store credit for the full value of the returned item. This credit never expires and can be used towards any future purchase at The Hijab Fairy. We will also refund your return shipping costs (details below).
- Non-Approved Return: If your return doesn't meet the requirements (worn item, missing tags, etc.), we will unfortunately not be able to accept it. We'll contact you via email with an explanation and safely return the item to you at your expense.
Refunds:
We do not offer cash refunds. Instead, you'll receive a store credit for the full value of your returned item, usable for any future purchase on our website.
Return Shipping Costs:
- You are responsible for covering the initial cost of returning the item to us.
- For Approved Returns: We will refund your return shipping costs once we have received and approved your return.
Special Note for European Union Customers:
If you reside in the European Union, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under EU law. This grants you the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. The standard return conditions outlined above would still apply.
